Processing of No-Insurance Tickets
If you have been charged with No Proof of Insurance and you had liability insurance covering the vehicle driven at the time the ticket was written, you may avoid a court appearance and have your case dismissed. Bring or mail one copy of the original proof of insurance, VALID BEFORE THE DATE OF CITATION, with a copy of your ticket to the address listed below.
IF YOU DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE, YOU MAY CONTACT THE CLERK OF COURT AT (205) 325-5309 FOR THE AMOUNT OF YOUR FINE AND COSTS, THEN SUBMIT A MONEY ORDER OR CASHIER'S CHECK (NO PERSONAL CHECKS) FOR THE FULL AMOUNT AND MAIL IT TO THE ADDRESS LISTED BELOW BEFORE THE COURT DATE. OTHERWISE, YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT.
Processing of No State Driver’s License Tickets
If you have been charged with No State Drivers License and you had a valid issued license at the time the ticket was written, you may avoid a court appearance and have your case dismissed. Bring or mail one copy of the original State Driver’s License, VALID BEFORE THE DATE OF THE CITATION, with a copy of your ticket to the address listed below.
IF YOU DID NOT HAVE A VALID STATE DRIVER’S LICENSE, OR HAVE NOT HAD YOUR CASE DISMISSED AS DESCRIBED ABOVE, YOU MUST APPEAR IN COURT.

PAYMENT SHOULD BE MADE BY CASH, CASHIER'S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
